According to 'L'Equipe', Barcelona are to hold talks with Paris Saint-Germain to negotiate a transfer for star player Kylian Mbappe. However, these rumours could be false.
'AS' reported on Monday that the Catalan giants have denied rumours linking the Frenchman with the Camp Nou. "We have nothing to do with this [Mbappe's transfer]," a source close to the Catalan club told the Spanish media.
Xavi Hernandez's side wanted to make it clear that they have not moved, nor will they move for the 24-year-old's services. Barcelona are limited to registering new signings due to their financial problems.
The Camp Nou outfit believe these rumours have been created by Paris Saint-Germain to put pressure on Real Madrid as Mbappe wants to join 'Los Blancos' as a free agent in 2024.
Meanwhile, Al Hilal have offered a record breaking offer of €300 million for the French striker, which 'L'Equipe' report the French side are poised to accept, as they want to sell their dream-turned-nightmare this summer, rather than have him walk for free next summer.
