Robert Lewandowski is ready for big things with Barcelona. The striker left Bayern Munich last summer to join the Spanish side, and his first season saw him win La Liga's top goalscorer - or 'pichichi' - and help the Catalan side to bag the domestic title.
At 34 years old, Lewandowski was very pleased with last season's performance, but feels that there is still more to be done, and the best is yet to come.
"Age is just a number, if I compare myself to the young players in the team, I see I'm still keeping up. I still have a lot of energy to give for Barca", he said in an interview with 'L'Equipe'.
"We have huge potential at Barcelona", he continued. "Although the first season was really good, I know we can do better, in the Champions League in particular".
Last season saw the Catalan side not even make it out of the group stages of Europe's top tournament, and both fans and club alike are hoping to shake off last campaign's disappointment and take this year's by storm.
