The Camp Nou are preparing for the 2023-24 season. The club have presented La Liga with a financial viability plan which, according to Barcelona's vice president of finances, Romeu, is very close to receiving the 'OK' from the board.
To be able to sign players, they'll have to first get players out. And, once players start to leave the side, Barca have named several priorities. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Vitor Roque is one of them.
Following several months thinking about signing him or not, it's thought they've decided to go all out. The club need a worthy replacement for Robert Lewandowski as he's 34 and they think the Athletico Paranaense man would be a great option.
The Brazilian is supposedly thrilled to be given a chance at Barca. They're prioritising this option, according to the Catalan newspaper, even though other English clubs may be going for him too, such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle.
To get Vitor Roque to the side, Barca will have to pay around €35-40 million. To be able to afford this luxury, several players will have to leave the Camp Nou. As for his salary, according to the newspaper, there won't be any problems, as the player will accept a low salary to start with.
