FC Barcelona keep coming up with new debts. Now, according to 'Cadena SER', the Catalan club must pay 4 million euros to Valencia for the departure of Neto to Bournemouth in 2022.
It all started with a swapdeal involving Neto and Cillessen in June 2019, which included a clause stating that Barca were committed to paying certain sums.
During this last period, the Catalan giants argued that they did not have to pay this figure because they had terminated the Brazilian goalkeeper's contract, leaving for the Premier League on a free transfer.
However, Valencia knew that this termination was a move to avoid paying the outstanding millions. Finally, the matter has been resolved so that the 'Che' club will receive 4 million euros as compensation for Neto's departure to Bournemouth.
