Messi">Leo Messi will almost certainly leave the Parc des Princes in June. France is taking it for granted that he will not renew with PSG. The French club, in fact, are already preparing for life without the '10' and fears how it could affect their coffers.
As for the striker's next destination, Barca are in the lead. The problem is that in order to be able to count on him as desired for 2023-24, the club have to cut 200 million euros from their spending.
According to 'Sport', Barça have already presented a viability plan to La Liga in which they explain how they plan to reduce their spending in order to bring Messi back to Barcelona.
The club are going to have to lower the salaries of their players if it wants to comply with this roadmap. The goal is to save around 60 million. And it is not just the players who will be paid less, as the club plans to cut 10 million in payroll and non-sporting salaries.

30 million more is to be saved with cuts in professional sections such as basketball, handball, women's football, futsal and hockey. La Masia, without going any further, would also see a reduction in the money spent on training football.
To this should be added another 30 million of savings in the club's finances. With Barça TV's departure, the club will save approximately 12 million less.
And, most difficult of all, the club will have to either sell players or get new sponsorship. The aim is to raise 70 million, either by selling players with a good reputation or by getting brands to look at Barca and want to invest in the Catalan club.
This viability plan, explains 'Sport', would be carried out over two seasons (2023-24 and 2024-25). If the club complies point by point, it could allow Messi to return. We will have to see if the accounts work out for the Spanish team.
