Barcelona see the top of the Liga table within touching distance as a win against Rayo Vallecano tonight would catapult them ahead of current leaders Real Madrid and second-placed Atletico, who both dropped points in their respective matches at the weekend.
Hansi Flick's 23-man shortlist for the game sees the returns of Ronald Araujo after the German boss had anticipated his inclusion, and that of Ansu Fati, who is back in a matchday squad for the first time since Deportivo Alaves visited the Montjuic on February 2.
Fati has been called up to replace Fermin Lopez, who faces suspension due to his red card at Sevilla. Having made his last appearance for the Catalan giants over a month ago, in the 0-4 win over Barbastro in the Copa del Rey, the Spaniard will be hoping to see minutes on Monday night.
Meanwhile, the Uruguayan's chances of getting some game time are in doubt after he was only able to work partially with the group, missing out on the training session. With Martinez, Cubarsi and Garcia also available, Flick could opt to rest Araujo. Alongside Lopez, injured trio Ter Stegen, Christensen and Bernal are ruled out from the squad.
Goalkeepers: Inaki Pena, Wojciech Szczesny, Diego Kochen
Defenders: Pau Cubarsi, Alejandro Balde, Ronald Araujo, Inigo Martinez, Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, Hector Fort, Gerard Martin.
Midfielders: Gavi, Pedri, Pablo Torre, Marc Casado, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong.
Forwards: Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati, Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Pau Victor.
