There is light at the end of the tunnel for Gavi, who makes his return after 348 days. The midfielder was included in Barcelona's squad-list for the game against Sevilla on Sunday. His last game for the 'Azulgrana' was on November 7th 2023 during a 1-0 defeat at Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
Barca can smile as Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez were also called up by manager Hansi Flick. The pair have recovered from their respective muscle injuries and are in line to feature at the Montjuic.
Frenkie de Jong is also included in the 23-man list, as he continues to ease his way back into the pitch with short cameos from the bench. The Dutchman made his long awaited comeback on October 1st in the Champions League against Young Boys.
Barcelona will be able to face Sevilla with their stars available to them, though Bernal, Araujo, Ferran Torres, Christensen and Ter Stegen continue their spells on the sidelines due to injury.
