Vitor Roque remains one of Barcelona's top targets for next summer. The young forward from Athletico Paranaense, with whom he has a contract until 2027, will turn 18 on 28th February.
The former Cruzeiro striker has been on the Barcelona agenda for weeks, and the Camp Nou offices are keeping a close eye on his progress and development in his home country.
According to the newspaper 'Sport', the 'Cules' valued his speed, versatility, vision and finishing ability, qualities that have already allowed him to score seven goals and provide three assists in the 36 official games he has played so far this season, 19 of them as a starter.
Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff are working on the possible arrival of Vitor Roque, as they consider him to be the perfect player to reinforce the 'Cules' attack. According to the aforementioned media, the plan is for the young Brazilian to join Robert Lewandowski, the undisputed starter in Barça's attack.
The Catalans plan to close a deal with Athletico Paranaense in the summer, when he is expected to join the Catalan club on a transfer. Barcelona will have to adjust their accounts, as Roque's price would be around 30 million fixed plus 5 million in variables.
