Barcelona announced this Thursday its shirt for the next ‘Clasico’. The Azulgrana team will wear the Coldplay logo, specifically the one that appears on ‘Moon Music’, the band's latest album. The club announced that all profits from the sale of this special shirt will go to a joint project between UNHCR and the FC Barcelona Foundation.

Barcelona's men's team will wear the logo of the British group Coldplay in the match against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on 26 October, while the women's team will wear it on 2 November against Eibar, as part of an agreement between the club and Spotify, one of its main sponsors.
For the first time, the profits from the sale of the limited edition shirts will go entirely to a project of UNHCR/UNHCR and the FC Barcelona Foundation, the club said in a statement.
The British band's emblem on the T-shirt is inspired by the band's tenth album, entitled ‘Moon Music’, which was released on 4 October.
Coldplay is the most played British band of all time on Spotify and has 11 tracks in the Spotify Billions Club, the group of songs that accumulate more than one billion plays on the platform, according to the Swedish music streaming company.
One of the group's legendary songs, ‘Viva la Vida’, is associated with the successes of Pep Guardiola's Barcelona in 2009 and is considered to have been the soundtrack to that legendary team that won everything in football.
The shirts, which will go on sale from Friday 18 October and have been on pre-sale since Thursday, will have two formats: one of the limited editions will consist of 1,899 units with the Coldplay logo, and another, more exclusive, will have only 22 units, with a fluorescent effect on the logo and the signature of the starting players of the two matches, the ‘Clasico’ and the Liga F match.
Spotify, Coldplay and FC Barcelona will donate the proceeds from these two match shirt collections to a joint project of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the FC Barcelona Foundation.
The appearance of the Coldplay logo is the fifth activation of the partnership between Spotify and FC Barcelona. Previously the protagonists were Karol G, Rolling Stones, Rosalia and Drake.
In a statement released by the Catalan club, members of the British band described it as ‘an honour “ that Spotify chose the ”Moon Music’ design on the FC Barcelona shirt.
"We have had a special relationship with the city and the Club for many years. We are also proud to support UNHCR in its life-saving work to protect refugees and displaced people around the world," they said.
