Barcelona can't afford to go all out. The side's financial situation is not the healthiest it's been and options like Sofyan Amrabat could be wiped off the Barcelona wish-list soon.
'Marca' reported that Barcelona had the Fiorentina man on their list, but Mateu Alemany, who will be leaving the Camp Nou next season, has prioritised other signings such as Ilkay Gundogan.
Barcelaon would have to pay to get Amrabat in. According to the source, the amount would be around €25 million, which makes him going to the Spanish giants that bit harder.
And it doesn't stop there. Other than signings, the Catalans want to register several players to the first team ahead of the 2023-24 season, Ronald Araujo, Gavi, Alex Balde, Marcos Alonso and Sergi Roberto being amongst those who Barca have their mind on.
Barcelona's only solution is to drastically reduce their out-goings while increasing their income. Otherwise, Joan Laporta won't have any more money left to sign Sofyan Amrabat.
