Lamine Yamal, who returned to the Spanish national team with a goal in the win over Cyprus, played down the incident with Barcelona team-mate Robert Lewandowski in the last game for his club, when the Pole allegedly refused to shake hands with him, and assured that "these are things that happen on the pitch".
"He has already explained it, these are things that happen on the pitch with a team-mate with whom I get on well. We are happy and content," he made clear on 'Teledeporte'.
Yamal, who missed the last two matches of the national team due to physical problems, started against Cyprus in his third match with 'La Roja' and scored his second goal after scoring on his debut at the age of 16.
"I'm very comfortable in the national team, with teammates who help me a lot. I'm very happy to wear this jersey," he said after finally closing Morocco's call-up options with his third match as a Spanish senior international.
