Barca's appeal against Lewandowski's ban rejected

Bad news for Barcelona. The Spanish Sports Administrative Court rejected their appeal. The Spanish side lodged the appeal for Robert Lewandowski's sending off against Osasuna.
The player received a three-match ban after receiving a red card. However, he was not suspended for the card, but for a subsequent gesture. The Pole touched his nose several times in reference to the referee.
In this way, Lewandowski will miss the La Liga games against Espanyol, Atletico Madrid and Getafe.
The striker and his inner circle tried to explain the meaning of the controversial gesture, which is very common in his country and can be translated as "cockiness". Nevertheless, the court disregarded his explanations.
