El Clasico left more of an impact on some players than others. Barcelona won the game, but several players finished the tie injured. This was the case with Frenkie de Jong, who was forced off due to injury.
During the international break, the Barcelona midfielder travelled home to The Netherlands. The Dutchman didn't manage to join his national side's training camp. The reason was none other than to undertake medical tests to determine his injury, according to 'Mundo Deportivo'.
Koeman dropped him from the 'Oranje' due to his hamstring injury, as per what the Spanish side published in an official statement.
Despite it not seeming that serious, the footballer now knows he's going to miss the league game against Elche, which will be manager Beccacece's first game in charge and, in case it was worth mentioning, he is now also in doubt for the cup game against Real Madrid.
