Saudi Arabia continues to set its sights on Europe's top players, having snatched several stars from their clubs since the start of the summer. But some players manage to turn down the huge offers from the Gulf state.
According to 'Foot Mercato', Al Nassr have approached Ousmane Dembele to offer him an impressive five-season contract worth €40 million a year, almost ten times what he is currently earning at Barcelona.
The Saudi club, where Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing for just over six months, were prepared to pay Dembele's termination clause of an additional €50 million.
But the 26-year-old Frenchman wants to stay in Europe, and especially at Barca. He is reportedly in talks with the Catalan club about extending his contract.
After the failure of the transfer of Moussa Diaby, who finally chose Aston Villa, and the recent refusal of 'Dembouz', Al Nassr will have to look for another winger.
