Two months after his injury, Vitor Roque returned to action against Vasco da Gama. Deco confirmed that Barcelona are considering bringing forward his arrival to January, so it's not all bad news for the 'Cules'.

Brazilian striker Vitor Roque, a future Barcelona player, played a few minutes for his current club Athletico Paranaense in his first appearance after suffering a sprained ankle two months ago.
Roque, who was not in the starting XI, came on with just over half an hour left in the match to try to give Paranaense, seventh in the league, fresh legs in attack against fourteenth-placed Vasco da Gama.
However, the 18-year-old striker was unable to break the deadlock against an opponent who kept the hosts at bay, as the match ended 0-0.
Although the first impressions of the injury were pessimistic, the player did not have to undergo surgery and, after two months of recovery, Athletico Paranaense has opted to return him to the pitch gradually.
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez opened up the possibility of the striker joining the Catalan club in January at the end of September. Sporting director Deco said after the 1-1 draw against Rayo that the club is already working on that option. "We are not going to replace Gavi because there is no one like him on the market. We will see what position we reinforce, we will surely opt for Vitor Roque, although nothing has been decided," he told 'DAZN'.
According to 'Marca', although the final decision has not been taken, Barca will communicate in the next few days to La Liga their intention to bring in a player for January and the one in the pole, as anticipated by Deco, is the Athletico Paranaense player.
