Sergi Roberto is aware that keeping his place in the Barcelona squad for next campaign will be a difficult task as his current contract expires at the end of the season.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the 31-year-old could continue his career in Major League Soccer like his former teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, among others.
The defender has said several times that he loves the United States as a destination, specifically New York. As a result, his former teammates may be able to help him make a decision about his future.
Nevertheless, his first option will be to convince Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez to offer him a new contract and a place in the squad for the 2024/25 season.
