FC Barcelona, who beat Real Madrid 2-1 in the New York metropolitan area, returned to Baltimore (Maryland, USA) to prepare for their final game of their pre-season tour of the United States against Milan.
"We're back in Baltimore," Barcelona posted on social networking site X in the early hours of last night.
With a brace from Pau Victor, the 'Cules' took the win in the friendly derby against Madrid at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford (New Jersey, USA), which was affected by a thunderstorm that forced the game to be suspended for more than an hour.
After beating Manchester City on penalties (2-2, 4-1) and beating Madrid (2-1), Hansi Flick's side will take on Milan at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.
Barcelona will prepare for the match against the Italians at the US Navy facility in Annapolis (Maryland, USA), where they trained in the days leading up to 'El Clasico'.
In addition to the flight back to Maryland, Barcelona took the opportunity on Sunday to pay tribute in New York to the team that in 1937 made a trip to Mexico and the United States in the midst of the Spanish Civil War, which was key to the team's economic survival.
