Barcelona close in on young star

Barcelona are putting the spotlight back on Turkish football. The Catalan side have been interested in Fenerbache man Arda Guler, whose contract is up in 2023, for months.
'Relevo' reported on Saturday that the Barca side have stepped up their interest in the 18 year old midfielder. The club's financial situation has made sure signing the Turkish player has become more of a priority.
The mentioned source reported that Fenerbahce will let Guler go for around €20 million and that they're not thinking about lowering that figure, considering he's under contract until June 2025.
What's more, Barca aren't the only side interested in the promising young talent. Borussia Dortmund keep prioritising more and more signing young stars.
At just 18 years old, the midfielder never stops shining at Fenerbahce. He's already played 23 games, managing to score four goals and get two assists, which shows his potential for the future.
