According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are determined to sign a new goalkeeper now, ruling out the option of waiting until the January transfer window. But they plan to find a replacement for Inaki Pena, who will become Hansi Flick's first-choice keeper after Marc-Andre ter Stegen's injury.

Barcelona can sign a free agent to replace Ter Stegen, with Spanish media linking former Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Claudio Bravo with the league leaders. Pena, who stepped in for Ter Stegen last season when he was sidelined with a back injury, is poised to start in goal against Getafe on Wednesday in La Liga.
But, according to reports in Spain, the Catalan club have decided to go to the market immediately to reinforce their goal. This is in place of a longer and more patient approach that would have seen them sign in the January transfer window, when they would not have had the current restrictions of only being able to sign free agents.
Barcelona have reportedly already made contact with some of them, although the identities of these have not been revealed by any media. But, coincidentally, three names that fit these requirements have been linked with the Spanish team. Keylor Navas and Claudio Bravo were the first to be mentioned, while on Tuesday Wojciech Szczesny joined the list.
Pena, 25, conceded 32 goals in 17 matches across all competitions last season, keeping only three clean sheets. Besides Pena, Barcelona have goalkeepers Ander Astralaga, 20, and Diego Kochen, 18, who is currently out injured.
