Milan's coach Paulo Fonseca said on Tuesday that FC Barcelona are the team who have played best this pre-season in the United States and have caused them the most problems.
"At the moment, (Barcelona) is the team that is playing the best," said the Portuguese coach at a press conference after beating the 'Cules' on penalties at the end of their 2-2 friendly draw in Baltimore (Maryland).
"It was difficult for us, it was the most difficult match of the three we have played," added the coach, referring to the previous games against Manchester City and Real Madrid, also won by the Milan side.
Fonseca said of Barcelona: "A lot of young players with great quality, good intentions, good ideas, attacking ideas. A lot of clarity, very well executed by the players".
All of these matches are part of the Soccer Champions Tour, an initiative that in recent years has brought prestigious European teams to the USA during the pre-season. This year's tour has included Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Milan.
