FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said on Tuesday morning, at the end of the pre-season tour of the United States, that the team is on the "right track" ahead of the start of La Liga.
"We're about 10 days away from the first La Liga game and we're on the right track. We can improve," Flick told a news conference after the match against Milan, which Barcelona lost on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
Barcelona make their domestic debut on 17th August against Valencia at the Mestalla. Regarding the match against Milan, Flick highlighted the second half of his players, who levelled the match after going two goals behind.
"The second half was great," said the coach, highlighting the team's pressing, which led to "numerous chances" and created problems for Milan.
Flick's Barcelona closed their pre-season tour with a 2-2 draw with Milan, having beaten Manchester City on penalties after another 2-2 draw and a 2-1 win over Real Madrid. The team set off for Barcelona overnight.
