Barcelona beat Sevilla and capitalised on the draw between Real Madrid and Atletico to move to within two points of 'Los Blancos' at the top and one of the 'Rojiblanco. However, not everything at the Sánchez-Pizjuán on Sunday was positive.
In the first half, Ronald Araujo had to leave the game after suffering a hard tackle from Saul Niguez. There were concerns about the physical state of his ankle, even more so for a player with a long history of injuries.
However, explained ‘Jijantes’ first and ‘COPE’ later, the Uruguayan centre-back only suffers an inflammation in the joint, so any type of injury has been ruled out.
In fact, the Uruguayan could even make it to Monday's game against Rayo Vallecano, an atypical schedule for Barcelona.
