Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez assured on Sunday, after defeating Valencia (7-1) at the Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys, that “there is still a lot” of championship ahead and said he was “sure” that the Catalan team will “fight until the end” for the title of La Liga.
“In La Liga we were coming from a bad run of form. We needed this victory, it was very important for the team. We have to keep fighting,” summed up the Andalusian player in statements to ‘DAZN’.
Fermin, who scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists, remarked that this performance has helped him “to gain confidence” after a start to the season “with a lot of injuries”.
“The coach tells us that we are all important. In the end, whoever comes out, we give the best we can. That's what it means to be a team. We will continue like this to fight for La Liga,” he added.
