Barcelona to renew Yamal until 2030 amid PSG rumours
The newspaper 'Sport' reports how Barcelona have received the interest of Paris Saint-Germain in signing Lamine Yamal. The French side's approach came to light thanks to a leak to 'Le Parisien', and the response from the Barcelona offices is a resounding "no", which Jorge Mendes has been aware of for some time now.

Lamine Yamal's potential exit to PSG is not open and will not be opened. After 'Le Parisien' published that the French capital are willing to put on the table an amount of around 200 million euros for the youth player, 'Sport' responds with the confirmation that the Barcelona board is far from considering the departure of a young player who, as soon as he turns 18, will renew his contract until 2030.
His contract currently runs until 2026, but it must be borne in mind that he is a teenager. The Catalan newspaper mentioned in the previous paragraph guarantees that there is a private agreement with him to extend his stay at Barcelona throughout this decade. It is quite likely that he will be provided with a salary in line with his position as an important part of the first team, although this has not yet been made public.
His termination clause is fixed at €1 billion, but the bosses at the Parc des Princes were considering proposing to the 'Cules' a reduction in his exit price in exchange for it being, in any case, a huge price to pay. The boy's agent, Jorge Mendes, presented the matter to Joan Laporta and his top brass as a possible solution to the budgetary situation at the club.
This is just one of the many avenues that the Portuguese representative put on the table of Barcelona, taking advantage of the fact that he manages Joao Cancelo, Joao Felix, Alejandro Balde, Lamine Yamal and Ansu Fati. Of this list, the one who is closest to an exit is the full-back, who is liked in the Premier League and has not finished winning a space in his coach's plans. He also underwent surgery on a right hamstring injury at the end of January and has not been back on the pitch since.
