FC Barcelona announced on Thursday that they will wear the Rolling Stones tongue and lips logo on the first team football jersey for the EA Sports La Liga match against Real Madrid on Saturday 28th October at the Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys.
The iconic logo will replace the Spotify emblem on the first team kit to celebrate the release of the British band's album 'Hackney Diamonds' on Friday.
As well as being seen on the men's first team kit, the logo will also be present on the front of the women's team jersey for La Liga F match against Sevilla on Sunday 5th November at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
This is not the first time that the 'Cules' shirt will promote music through Spotify, the Catalan club's main sponsor.
In last season's Madrid-Barca match, the team coached by Xavi Hernandez already wore the logo of the Canadian singer and songwriter Drake, while in the same match in the second half of the season they wore the emblem of 'Motomami', the latest album by Rosalia.
