Barcelona are thought to have already got in contact with La Liga to present an offer which would allow them to get Leo Messi nack, according to Gerard Romero. The plan is to get him in for the 2023-24 season, and would involve selling two big-name players as well as reducing several key players' salaries.

Leo Messi has to return to Barcelona however it may be. The Catalan side are thinking about going all out to get him back to the side. In fact, they've already taken the first step.
On his Twitch stream, Gerard Romero claimed that the Spanish giants have already made an offer to La Liga. It details how the club could get the Argentine in whilst complying with the 'Financial Fair Play' rules.
According to the same source, Barca are thought to have proposed the following to the league board. For Messi to be able to sign, the club would have to let two big-name players go and more would have to take a pay-cut.
If Barcelona manage to get these two out and adjust some players' salaries, the requirements to get Messi back would be in place. The viability plan that the club presented to La Liga supposedly convinced them, and so much so that the organisation are optimistic about getting the Argentine star back, which makes a change from president Tebas recently not thinking it plausible that the man from Rosario would return.
