Fermin Lopez was shown a straight red card in the 62nd minute for a challenge on Djibril Sow, which the referee deemed to involve excessive force. As a result, the Committee has imposed a one-game ban for violent conduct during play. Sevilla's Swiss midfielder was substituted following the incident.
The Committee has also issued one-match suspensions due to yellow card accumulation to Marcos Andre (Valladolid), Sandro Ramirez (Las Palmas), Jean-Michel Perraud (Betis), Loic Bade (Sevilla), Saul Niguez (Sevilla), Enzo Barrenechea (Valencia), Yvan Latour Neyou (Leganes), and Enzo Boyomo (Osasuna).
