According to 'ESPN', the Catalan giants already have their wishlist for the January transfer window. Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez wants to reinforce his midfield after the recent injuries of Pedri Gonzalez and Frenkie de Jong.
The same media outlet reports that the board are interested in signing Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich, who was close to joining Barcelona in the summer, Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara, Real Betis' Guido Rodriguez and Arsenal's Jorginho.
The Catalan side also want to reinforce their defence but they are not as desperate as they are in midfield.
