Barcelona's Xavi would like to have De Jong for the 'Clasico'
After suffering an ankle injury for almost three weeks, Frenkie de Jong is looking increasingly unlikely to play in the 28 October Clasico, but Xavi insists the Dutchman should be available.

Frenkie de Jong has been one of Barcelona's early season absentees, suffering an ankle injury since a La Liga match against Celta on 23 September.
With just over 15 days to go until the 'Clasico' against Real Madrid, the situation is not improving, with the Dutchman still walking on crutches and struggling to put his foot down.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the plan is to try to have the splint removed next Monday (16 October), and to assess the possibility of having an infiltration to play in this expected league clash, or so Xavi hopes.
The club is aware that the final decision is up to the midfielder, who can refuse outright, but the Barca coach is also unwilling to take risks with the Dutchman if recovery is slower than expected.
