Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller has said that his side's clash with reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena on Saturday "will be exciting until the last minute".
Speaking to the Bavarian club's media, the veteran striker, the most-capped player in the club's history, alluded to Xabi Alonso's side's ability to come back from seemingly lost games at the limit.
"Every time you play Leverkusen at the moment, you're up against a really tough opponent. They know how to play football, they know how to suffer, they have the mentality, they never give up. If they need another goal, they will keep knocking on the door until someone opens it," he said.
Muller praised that "both teams make Bundesliga hearts beat faster, they are in good form and have scored a lot of goals".
"The way we are playing football at the moment is fun. The goals are a consequence of our style of play. The dominance, the domination of the opposition, that's new again and it feels good," he said about the level of play shown by Vincent Kompany's side at the start of the season.
Muller, who a few weeks ago overtook Sepp Maier to become the most-capped player in Bayern's history, has three goals in six appearances this season, at the end of which his contract with the six-time European champions expires.
