Bayern Munich named Vincent Kompany as the new coach of the German giants on a three-year contract on Wednesday, in a surprise move. The 38-year-old is already planning the German giants' squad for next campaign.
According to 'The Sun', Kompany wants to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City to play alongside compatriot Harry Kane in attack. The left winger has lost his pecking order under Pep Guardiola following the arrival of Jeremy Doku at the Etihad Stadium.
However, the former Aston Villa player is not the only one on his radar. The Belgian coach wants to bring another Sky Blues player to Germany. In fact it is one of his former Manchester teammates.
OIeksandr Zinchenko, who joined Arsenal in 2022, is being targeted by the Bayern Munich coach to strengthen his defence for next season. The 27-year-old made an immediate impact at the Emirates Stadium but could change his destination if Kompany can convince him to move elsewhere.
