Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel among Barcelona candidates to replace Xavi Hernandez

German coach Thomas Tuchel has a chance to take the bench at FC Barcelona, according to a report in the newspaper 'Sport'. The main reason for this possible move is the coach's tense situation in Germany, where he is currently being outplayed by Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen.
On the other hand, Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants a coach who has already won the Champions League to replace Xavi. Although, in this sense, his favourite is Jurgen Klopp, who has already announced that he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. However, it is also true that he has stated that he has no intention of coaching next season.
The Catalan daily also points out that the German coach has always been tempted to coach in La Liga. The newspaper claims that if Barcelona offer him a top level project, Tuchel will surely consider it.
From Catalonia, they explain that the club would like to finish casting coaches by the first week of March at the latest. The new coach will have to make his decisions well in advance.
