Bayern confirms Dier extended until 2025
Bayern Munich defender Eric Dier's deal has been extended until 2025, new sporting director Max Eberl confirmed on Friday.
The deal was extended automatically by one year after the 30-year-old England defender satisfied a clause in his contract to play a minimum number of games.
Speaking with broadcaster 'DAZN' before Bayern's match at Freiburg, Eberl said Dier is "definitely helping us."
Dier joined Bayern from Tottenham in January on a deal which had been set to run until the end of the season. He has since played six Bundesliga matches for the German champions, starting four times.
