Bayern goalkeeper Neuer could make his return this weekend

Manuel Neuer's recovery is well underway. After making a gradual return to training in recent weeks, the Bayern Munich goalkeeper got back to enjoying a team session at the end of September.
A return to the matchday squad is now expected on Saturday for the Bundesliga match against Darmstadt. He is not in the German side's squad list for Tuesday's Champions League match at Galatasaray.
Matthijs de Ligt confirmed the news in his pre-match press conference: "We are very, very happy that Manuel Neuer will be back on Saturday against Darmstadt. He's a world-class goalkeeper, one of the best in the history of football, and a player of his quality obviously means a lot to the team. We hope he'll be back in top form.
However, the Bundelsiga champions' coach Thomas Tuchel told a press conference a few days ago that the team would not "rush" the goalkeeper's return.
