Bayern Munich and Davies back in talks

Bayern Munich and Alphonso Davies are destined to come to an understanding. After the Canadian appeared to be close to Real Madrid, Ferland Mendy's strong performances have cooled talks with the Spanish side... only to resume with the Bavarians.
'Bild' reported that Bayern are willing to increase the €13m a year they had previously offered the full-back to renew a contract that runs out in June 2025.
There is still no agreement between the player and the German club, but this approach by Bayern Munich to tie down one of their best players is a first step.
Furthermore, according to the source, Vincent Kompany, the Bavarian club's new coach, is counting on Davies for next season's squad.
