Jamal Musiala and Bayern Munich are closer to reaching an agreement on a renewal deal for the player who is open to extending his contract beyond 2026, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Jamal Musiala's contract with Bayern Munich comes to an end in 2026 and the Bavarian giants were already starting to get nervous about a possible exit for the young talent.
On Monday, journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports in Germany, Bayern and player are in 'very positive talks' about a contract extension.
According to rumours the player has been on the radar of clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid, although the journalist said there have been no talks with either.
Musiala's salary is around 8-9 million euros and according to Plettenberg the player's wages could rise to around 25 million euros gross per year, including bonuses.
The player is open to extending his contract beyond 2026 and this possible extension would tie him to the Allianz Arena until 2029 or 2030.
