Bayern still obsessed with Barca's De Jong

Frenkie de Jong has become a real obsession for Bayern Munich. The Dutchman, who was already on the Bavarian club's radar last summer, has re-sparked their interest after his good performances at the World Cup.
After getting through to the quarter-finals, the midfielder has been one of the Louis Van Gaal's best players, who were on the verge of the semi-finals after losing on penalties to Argentina.
According to 'Sport', Bayern know that Barcelona need to sell players to improve their financial situation, and will wait to see what the Catalan side decide to do in January.
As for themselves, Barca will have to make a final decision on Frenkie, although it seems that him saying is more likely despite the problems there are with his high salary.
