Andre Onana's start to his Manchester United career has been riddled with high-profile errors in the Champions League. His poor performances have cost the Red Devils dearly as they have been eliminated from Europe's top competition, with no chance of playing in another this season.
As a result, the Cameroonian goalkeeper has been heavily criticised by fans in recent weeks as he has struggled to make an impact at his new club after joining from Inter Milan in the summer.
However, he was not the only goalkeeper signed last summer as Altay Bayindir, who played for Fenerbahce, also joined the Red Devils as second-choice goalkeeper. The 25-year-old has yet to make his debut for United but is very close to taking on an important role.
Cameroon head coach Rigobert Song has called up Andre Onana for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. The tournament runs from January 13 to February 11 in the Ivory Coast.
