Bellingham and Rodrygo likely to miss Real Sociedad clash

Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo Goes were absent, due to gastroenteritis and flu, respectively, from the second and final session in which Real Madrid prepared for La Liga visit to Real Sociedad, on a morning in which Ferland Mendy returned to the group dynamic.
The English midfielder, suffering from gastroenteritis, and the Brazilian forward, suffering from flu-like symptoms, were rested on Thursday and, pending official confirmation from Carlo Ancelotti, will not take part in the game in San Sebastian against Real Sociedad, which has been brought forward to Friday.
Bellingham has a better chance of making the squad, but it will depend on the decision of Ancelotti, who had already planned to rotate his starting line-up ahead of the first leg of Real Madrid's semi-final against Bayern in Germany next Tuesday.
Along with Bellingham and Rodrygo, absent from the morning training session at the Madrid training ground was Austrian David Alaba, who is continuing his recovery from a knee injury.
Thibaut Courtois and Ferland Mendy, who did not complete the last session before 'El Clasico' and the return to work on Wednesday due to muscular discomfort, started the morning with the group.
