After returning to the starting line-up for Real Madrid's Champions League opener against Stuttgart, Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni return to Carlo Ancelotti's La Liga squad to face Espanyol, with David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga, Brahim Diaz and Dani Ceballos absent through injury.
Ancelotti has already recalled two players who are unchallenged in his starting line-up in the Champions League and against Espanyol they return in La Liga, a competition in which Tchouameni missed the visit to Real Sociedad and in which Bellingham could only play the first game before suffering a foot problem on 23 August.
Four players remain injured, with only Camavinga close to a return. Having improved from the knee sprain that has prevented him from playing this season, he has started to work on the pitch and next week he will return to the group dynamic.
In this way, and with Eder Militao fully recovered from the blow suffered in San Sebastian that led to his substitution as a precaution in the Champions League, Ancelotti repeats the squad from the European opener.
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Fran Gonzalez
Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vazquez, Rudiger, Militao, Jesus Vallejo, Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia
Midfielders: Tchouameni, Fede Valverde, Luka Modric, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler
Forwards: Vinicius, Mbappe, Rodrygo and Endrick
