Bellingham and Tchouameni to miss Real Sociedad clash
Real Madrid are not willing to take risks with more players. Although they were already in training, Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouaméni were absent from Friday's session and will not be in the squad against Real Sociedad.

For yet another year, Real Madrid's injury situation is a drama. When Carlo Ancelotti seems to recover on one side, they lose on the other. Faced with this situation, the medical staff at Real Madrid prefer to take a conservative approach and minimise risks. This is what they have done with Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni.
Neither of them were present at the team's training session at Real Madrid's training complex on Friday ahead of their clash with Real Sociedad. The change is that on Thursday we did see Bellingham and Tchouameni working relatively normally with the group, a sight that gave the 'Merengues' supporters hope.
In the end, the club opted that neither the Englishman nor the Frenchman should be forced to travel to San Sebastian. In the case of Jude Bellingham, the midfielder played his last game on 18th August in Mallorca and was injured in the training session prior to the game against Real Valladolid. He suffered a thin plantar muscle problem and was expected to be out for a month. It looked as if he was going to cut back to three weeks, but the club wants to give him a few more days and see if he can return on Tuesday against Stuttgart.
The same has happened with Tchouameni. The Frenchman went away on a training camp with France and on the first day developed discomfort in his left foot which forced him to leave. He was joined by Ferland Mendy, who was suffering from tibial muscle strain. Both the full-back and the midfielder showed positive signs shortly before the visit to the Reale Arena. However, the latter has taken a step back.
In this case, Mendy is aiming for the duel on ‘Txuri-urdin’ soil, as is Eder Militao, who also left the Brazil national team training camp on 5th September. He just needed some rest and the proof is that he has recovered in time. This time, the FIFA virus has left its mark on the Real Madrid squad, proving the effects that this never-ending schedule has on the players.
Hours before the game against Real Sociedad, Real Madrid have six players out of the squad. David Alaba was much more than expected and ‘AS’ claims that his return is not expected until November. In addition, Eduardo Camavinga is still out, as are Dani Ceballos, the aforementioned Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni and academy player Jacobo Ramon, who was injured in pre-season.
