Bellingham becomes first English player to win POTM in La Liga

The Spanish league announced on Wednesday that Jude Bellingham won the Player of the Month award for August after scoring four goals and providing an assist in three La Liga games.

Jude Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund for £113 million in the summer transfer window. The 20-year-old has become a key player for Carlo Ancelotti as he has started his first three La Liga games.
And no wonder. The English midfielder has shown his skills to the whole of Spain in recent weeks. Bellingham has scored four goals and provided an assist in the Spanish giants' last few matches.
As a result, the England international has won the Player of the Month award for August in the 2023/24 La Liga season. The midfielder has become the first English player to win it after his superb start to the campaign.
Furthermore, the former Dortmund footballer has beaten Steve McManaman, Gary Lineker, Michael Owen and Laurie Cunningham. And he is the third Madrid player to score in his first three games after Wesley Sneijder and Cristiano Ronaldo.
