Bellingham equals Ronaldo's scoring start at Madrid

England's Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid's main summer signing, has had a stellar start, scoring four goals in three wins for Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti's side, a start like that of Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.
Despite not being a striker, Bellingham, who arrived from Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund, has become the main reference of the 'Merengues' attack in La Liga 2023-24, which lead the table with full wins.
The England international scored the second goal in the 2-0 win at San Mames against Athletic in the season opener, scored a brace to come from behind to beat Almeria 3-1 at the Power Horse Stadium and sealed a hard-fought 1-0 win at Balaidos on Friday against Celta.
His start has been similar to that of the player who broke all the goalscoring records at the Madrid club, Cristiano Ronaldo, who also scored four goals in his first three La Liga matches in 2009 to help the team led by the Chilean Manuel Pellegrini get off to a superb start in the domestic championship.
The current Al Nassr player scored a penalty against Deportivo (3-2), another in the 3-0 win in Barcelona against Espanyol and a brace against Xerez at the Santiago Bernabeu (5-0).
Bellingham, with his four goals, is already in his second highest scoring season. His best Bundesliga tally was eight last season, with one and three league goals in the previous two seasons.
