Real Madrid announced on Friday the squad list of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti for Saturday's match against Valencia, in which he has seven absentees, six due to injury and one - Antonio Rudiger - due to suspension.
The last confirmed absence was Arda Guler, who was called up for the last two games but did not even warm up. The forward has suffered his third injury since joining Madrid in the summer and is once again out of action.
After overcoming a right knee injury and a thigh injury, the 18-year-old is suffering from a muscle problem in his right leg. In place of Rudiger, Ancelotti called up academy player Edgar Pujol, who is a key player in coach Raul Gonzalez Blanco's plans at RM Castilla.
Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois, Aurelien Tchoaumeni, Dani Ceballos, who is recovering from muscular discomfort, and Kepa Arrizabalaga are also absent.
