Bellingham's Dad stopped him from joining Barca

Jude Bellingham started his professional career at Birmingham. From there he went on to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020 when he was just 17.
But before going to the Bundesliga, the midfielder could have been a Barca player. Borja Krkic, who was a scout for the side between 2017 and 2020, explained that four or five years ago, the Catalan side were interested in the player and it was his Dad who stopped him from joining.
"I arranged to meet with Bellkingham's father in London, who was part of the British secret police, but he never showed up. I know he did it to a lot of people", Bojan Krkic revealed to 'Que t'hi Jugues'.
And he explained the strange reason as to why Bellingham's Dad did not want him to sign for Barca: "His excuse to us was that we had already signed another English youngster from Aston Villa or West Brom and he said: 'My son won't sign for Barcelona. He can't play with a side with such limited quality".
That is how Barcelona's doors were shut to Bellingham, who ended up signing for Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020.
Now, Bellingham is on Real Madrid's watchlist, as well as a lot of other European giants'. It does not surprise Bojan Krkic at all, especially after the World Cup he is having with England. To end, he emphasised his "personality and great winning mentality".
