After FIFA awarded Leo Messi The Best trophy for the 2021-22 season, Karim Benzema wanted to remind people of all the achievements he got last season.
The Real Madrid player took to his Instagram to share a photo of Vinicius as "The Beasts", in a clear reference to The Best. It's thought that was because the Brazilian didn't even get in to FIFA's World Starting XI.
However, Benzema's main point was what he won last season. The 'Merengue' player posted a photo of all his achievements last year.
The French striker highlighted that he got 63 goals and 21 assists, as well as his Nations League, Champions League, La Liga, European Super Cup, Spanish Super Cup and Club World Cup titles.
But that wasn't all. Benzema also reminded people in his post that he was elected the best player in Europe, getting the prestigious Ballon d'Or and Champions League Man of the Match.
It was a post in which the French striker appeared to question Messi winning The Best, who got the award after winning the World Cup with Argentina, scoring seven goals and getting two assists in Qatar.
