Brahim Diaz will be out of action for the next few weeks with an abductor injury in his right leg, a setback that the Real Madrid player is counting down the days until his return despite missing the start of the Champions League.
The player posted a statement on his social media on Monday. "I'm sad about the injury, but there is one day less to return. We have to face small obstacles that make us stronger," he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"I'll be here until I recover helping and cheering on the team as a fan at every game. Thanks to all of you for your love, it makes it so much easier. I can't wait to see you all again and enjoy it together! See you soon," he concluded.
Brahim Diaz joined Real Madrid's list of absentees, but hopes to return sooner rather than later. He will not be available to Carlo Ancelotti against Stuttgart in the Champions League, as well as in the next few weeks of competition.
