The Morocco international was forced off the pitch before the half-hour mark of the first half, his replacement was Brazilian striker Rodrygo who started on the bench.
Following tests carried out by the Real Madrid medical staff, the player was set to miss out on at least eight weeks worth of action. However, according to 'Diario AS', Diaz is now expected to make an anticipated comeback.
