Bad news for Manchester City. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland will be unable to help his team in Sunday's Premier League encounter against Luton Town, according to reports in England.
The reason for his absence is unknown but it is a huge blow for the Sky Blues, who have now gone four league games without a win.
The 24-year-old will miss one of his chances to score against Luton as he has netted against 18 out of 20 English teams in domestic competition. As he has never faced the Hatters, he has yet to score against them.
Pep Guardiola was hoping the Norwegian could help the team get back to winning ways after failing to win their last four Premier League matches. However, the Spanish manager will have to find a replacement for him, with the chance to give Julian Alvarez the role of Haaland on the pitch.
