It is now known when probably the most important hearing in English football history will take place, the UK's 'Daily Mail' has reported.
Manchester City and the Premier League have reached an agreement to set a trial date for the 115 financial rule-breaking trial the Sky Blues were charged with in February, after opening an investigation in 2018.
As the British outlet that broke the news understands, the date for the showdown has been 'initially dated for the late autumn of 2024', meaning the Cityzens will not face any potential sanctions this season at least.
Furthermore, in the event that the Mancunian team are found guilty of the charges they are accused of, Manchester City would be sanctioned for the end of next season, at the same time as manager Pep Guardiola's contract expires.
